Our story started in 1872 when Carl Bäckström started the business. He had emigrated from Sweden to Canada, where he learned to build kitchens. He returned to Sweden and started the business, later to be known as the Canadaköket. Carl Bäckström was an innovative and hard-working man. He was among the first to offer prefabricated kitchen fronts. Soon after he could even offer prefabricated white painted cabinets with a neat interior. During this 140 years Canadaköket has gone on developing high quality kitchen in first class materials. The collections have concentrated to more and more exclusive kitchens.

In order to keep on that development, we have now decided to revitalize the company. We start by launching a brand new kitchen collection.
